ONE DC (formerly Manna CDC) has begun publishing popularized manuals, reports and other essential tools for information sharing, education and organizing. ONE DC uses participatory research methods, popular education and other liberatory education processes to develop its publications.
Upcoming Publications!! We are currently securing funds to develop and translate Building by Building into Spanish, providing the history of Latino migration to the District as well as other issues faced by families, youth and seniors. We are also developing a series of popularized brochures in Spanish, English, Cantonese, Mandarin and possibly Amharic on Tenants Rights, the Pitfalls Tenants Face When Buying Their Building, & the Tenant Purchase Process. We will begin working on a Building by Building Training Manual, the second book in the series in the winter of 2006.
